Logline: An aging film legend from Asia, long faded from the spotlight, claws her way back to fame with a Hollywood comeback film.
Logline: “Mia” is a multi-season legal drama about Mia Yamamoto, who takes on the case of her childhood best friend, Lucia, who has been wrongfully convicted of a triple murder and faces the death penalty. Mia fights relentlessly to exonerate Lucia and save her from execution. In doing so, Mia also liberates herself from a lifetime of imprisonment by becoming the first openly transgender trial lawyer.
